Firefighters Respond To Three Structure Fires At Same Location

04-18-2020 At about 11:30am Swanton Fire department responded to the Lord road in Swanton Town for a report of a shed fire.While responding firefighters were notified that the house was on fire.Before firefighters arrived they were updated again the the barn was beginning to catch fire.Mutual aid was called in from Highgate,ST.Albans Town.Alburgh,Georgia Fire Departments and Phillipsburg QC.covered Swantons Fire Station and ST.Albans City Fire Departmen was called in to cover the city and town calls.Missisquoi Valley Rescue stood-by at the scene.there to adults and 2 kids in the house that escaped injuries and there were no other injuries reported.The cause of the fire is being investigated.The shed and the house were a total loss.Firefighters saved the barn.Firefighters also had to deal with grass,brush,tires also burning.
