Boat Fire Quickly Contained in Westfield

Westfield, Vt. — September 25, 2026 — The Troy Volunteer Fire Department arrived at around 5:55 a.m. A reported boat fire at a residence on Kennison Road in Westfield occurred on Friday. 


When the firefighters arrived, the boat was already completely engulfed in flames. The crews swiftly got the fire under control and contained it to the boat. The department’s released information showed no reports of extensions to the residence or any other property.
