— April 12th — The Willington Fire Department was special called to assist at a structure fire in the Town of Mansfield during the early morning hours.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., Engine/Tanker 113 responded with three members to support operations. Upon arrival, ET113 was assigned to establish and maintain water supply for fireground operations. Crew members were also assigned to Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) duties, standing by for firefighter rescue if needed.

The unit remained on scene until operations were scaled back and returned to service at approximately 4:30 a.m.
