CROYDON, NH — April 12th — The Croydon Fire Department, NH RT-10, and mutual aid partners responded to a reported brush fire near Sand Hill Road along the Newport town line. arrived to discover a fire burning through dry fuels due to wind. The event was escalated to a first alarm and subsequently a second alarm due to fire conditions, which brought more personnel to the area. Firefighters coordinated suppression efforts across several companies and established containment lines.
