Second-Alarm Fire in Coatesville City

COATESVILLE, PA - On March 21st at 11:17 A.M., the Coatesville Fire Department along with area mutual aid were dispatched to the 300 block of S. 1st Avenue in Coatesville City for a reported house fire. First arriving CFD units had fire showing from a middle of the row, and advised that a total of three units were now involved. Ladder 41 and Engine 41's crew began fire suppression efforts along with searches of the involved structures. As the incident progressed, the second-alarm was struck, bringing additional resources to scene including an engine from Honey Brook Fire Co. Engine 33-1 with a crew of six, along with the Duty Officer responded. Honey Brook personnel checked for extension in exposure units and conducted overhaul before clearing the scene a short time later.
