NEW YORK MILLS, NY — February 27th — At the site of a two-vehicle collision on State Route 840 close to the Commercial Drive overpass, which resulted in traffic delays in the westbound lanes, the New York Mills Fire Department helped emergency personnel. A 2015 Audi driven by Michael Hartman, 77, of New York Mills, and a 2016 Audi driven by Arnel Sinanovic, 19, of Poland, New York, were both heading west when they got tangled, according to New Hartford Police. Hartman's car spun and landed on the road, while Sinanovic's hit the concrete center divider.

While Edwards Ambulance Service assessed the individuals involved, firefighters helped with traffic control and scene safety. Sinanovic received a ticket from the police for driving too fast in violation of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
