Katonah, NY — March 3rd — On the northbound intersection between the Saw Mill River Parkway and Interstate 684, the Katonah Fire Department was called to a reported two-vehicle collision involving casualties. The Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps was sent along with the units. When car 2211 arrived first, it verified that there were two cars on the left side of the road.

In order to safeguard the site and lessen risks for oncoming drivers, firefighters implemented traffic control. Additionally, a little fluid leak from one of the cars was contained by the crews. While firemen ensured scene safety and provided assistance when needed, EMS workers assessed and treated the patients. Responders cleared the road after tow trucks removed both cars. The left lane was then made available to traffic once the units were put back into action.
