Smoke Investigation Leads to Small Fire in Brockport

At at 5:20 p.m. on March 9, the Brockport Fire District responded to a report of smoke coming from a structure at the rear of a property near 48 High Street in the Village of Brockport. Upon arrival, firefighters inspected and discovered a tiny pile of debris emitting smoke. Crews rapidly doused the fire with apparatus already on the spot. Officials claimed that the situation was resolved without incident, and units restored to service shortly thereafter.
