Constantia, NY - The Constantia Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported chimney fire on North Auringer Road. Upon arrival, crews confirmed an active chimney fire at the residence.

Firefighters quickly set up ground ladders to access the roof and worked to clear the chimney while ventilating the structure to remove heat and smoke. Their coordinated efforts brought the situation under control without further incident.

Emergency personnel remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes before clearing the call.

Units that responded included Chiefs 801, 802, 803, and 804, along with Engines 811 and 812, Tanker 851, and Rescue 862.
