Three-Alarm Fire Erupts at Brooklyn Mixed-Use Building; Several Injured

BROOKLYN, NY - Late Friday evening, February 20th, the FDNY responded to a 3-alarm fire at 3322 Church Avenue in Brooklyn, bringing approximately 40 units and 170 FDNY members to the scene.


“Upon arrival, units encountered heavy fire on the top floor of a three-story mixed-occupancy building, which ultimately required a third alarm response,” said Deputy Chief Edward Esposito.


The fire took approximately 90 minutes to bring under control.


Four civilians and one firefighter sustained minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals.


The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
