TUPPER LAKE, NY — February 11th — A car versus pedestrian incident at 24 Lindsay Avenue prompted the Tupper Lake Fire Department, located at 21 Santa Clara Ave., Suite 1, PO Box 849, to respond. Emergency personnel responded to help at the spot after receiving preliminary information. Nevertheless, fire department equipment was detained in the station and did not react to the scene once more information was obtained.

Due to the possibility of severe injuries, incidents involving pedestrians are usually handled as priority calls. When necessary, fire departments frequently react in tandem with EMS and law police to support patient access and scene safety.
