February 22, 2026 — Adelphia Fire Company announced that volunteer crews will be staged at both fire stations throughout the winter storm to ensure rapid response and continuous protection for the community. Department officials encouraged residents to avoid travel if possible and to reduce speeds if driving is necessary, reminding motorists to keep roadways clear for snow removal operations and emergency vehicles. Firefighters also urged homeowners to clear snow from fire hydrants and home heating vents, safely operate space heaters and generators, and avoid contact with downed power lines. Residents were asked to check on neighbors who may require assistance during severe weather conditions. The department emphasized that in the event of an emergency, residents should call 911, as crews remain prepared and ready to serve despite hazardous conditions.
