The Miami Beach Fire Department emphasized the value of teamwork and collaboration during a recent K-9 training session aimed at maintaining high standards and strengthening relationships. Captain Shawn Campana of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Samantha Cespedes of the Miami Beach Police Department played critical roles in the development and training of K-9 Deco.

During the session on January 29, Deco and handler Captain Martinez met with the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue K-9 team, which included Howard Brown and Montego Estes, to assess skills and coordinate. Legacy and Delta attended the training, as did MBPD Victim Advocate Samantha and Lincoln, as well as K-9 Crisis Responders.
