On January 28, at around 5:07 a.m., Miami Beach Fire Department personnel responded to a reported building fire on 41st Street. Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a business's kitchen and began suppression operations immediately. Crews suppressed the fire and searched surrounding businesses for possible extensions and to guarantee occupant safety. During the hunt, firefighters rescued two dogs and one cat from a nearby veterinary clinic that had become engulfed in smoke.
