On January 23, Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a car crash at the intersection of Cortez Boulevard and the Suncoast Parkway. Crews arrived on the site and guarded the area while inspecting the vehicles and their occupants. One eastbound lane was temporarily closed while firemen worked to manage traffic and guarantee the safety of motorists and emergency personnel. Officials stated that no injuries were discovered at the location.
