DeLand Fire Receives Fitness Equipment Donation

The DeLand Fire Department thanked First Congregational Church for giving over $8,500 in gym equipment to help firefighters' health and welfare. The donation contained a big selection of dumbbells and three leg extension machines, which will be utilized to improve the station's strength and conditioning programs. Lt. Bass and Engineer Brown, both church members, accompanied representatives for the presentation at the station.
