LOWELL, MA - Lowell firefighters had heavy smoke showing from a distance for this fire on Temple St., 2/16/24.  Companies arrived to fire showing from the front porch of a two-and-a-half-story wood-frame dwelling with reported people trapped. Companies made an aggressive interior attack and also located and rescued one victim from the building. The victim was transported to a local hospital. Command struck a second-alarm and later on a third-alarm due to the amount of overhaul. Companies remained on scene overhauling and checking for extension.
