COCHRAN, GA — February 10th — Cochran Fire & Emergency Services firemen were honored at a recent city council meeting for their actions during a Christmas morning residential fire. The personnel were awarded for entering a blazing residence and rescuing a casualty, which the department classified as a confirmed save. The celebration was attended by city authorities and community residents who wanted to congratulate the firefighters for their collaboration and dedication to public safety. Sergeant Kleinfeld was acknowledged, as were firefighters McElroy, Q. Nguyen, B. Nguyen, Mleczko, and Angus.
