MARLBOROUGH, MA — February 8th — During an incident at Marlborough Hospital, Ambulance 3 from the Concord, Massachusetts Fire Department (209 Walden Street, Concord, MA) was sent to the Town of Marlborough as a member of the 14B strike team. In order to support patient care, coordination, and operational demands, crews collaborated with local fire and emergency medical services.

While preserving service coverage in their local communities, strike team responses enable several organizations to pool personnel, tools, and specialized resources. During major or complicated events, departments around Central Massachusetts collaborate to improve interoperability, safety, and communication. Coordinated mutual aid, according to officials, guarantees dependable emergency services and enhances regional preparedness. While their district's coverage plans were being developed, Concord units continued to be dispatched.
