WILBRAHAM, MA — February 8th — A reported structure fire at 215 Three Rivers Road prompted the Wilbraham Fire Department, located at 2770 Boston Road, Wilbraham, Massachusetts, to react. Within five minutes of their arrival, firefighters discovered that the first floor and basement were heavily smoldering and smoking. In order to bring in more personnel and resources, a second alarm was ordered.

In order to verify that the building's residents had left, crews launched an intense interior attack and carried out primary searches. Westover Air Reserve Base, Three Rivers, Hampden, Palmer, and Ludlow all sent mutual aid. The Massachusetts Department of Fire Services ran a rehab unit, and Springfield Fire covered the stations. The fire was controlled in about 45 minutes. The cause is still being looked into, and no injuries were recorded.
