WILBRAHAM, MA — January 15th — An early-morning commercial truck fire was responded to by the Wilbraham Fire Department, located at 2770 Boston Road, Wilbraham, Massachusetts. When crews arrived, they discovered that the car was involved in a working fire. They promptly started suppression efforts to stop the fire from spreading to adjacent exposures.

In order to control traffic and safeguard the public, firefighters protected the area, managed potential dangers, and collaborated with law enforcement. While activities went on, mutual aid partners sent more personnel and coverage. There were no reported injuries. Commercial vehicle fires can be problematic because of fuel loads and cargo, according to officials. To ensure efficient responses to transportation and traffic crises, the department continues to place a strong emphasis on safety, coordination, and training.
