WILBRAHAM, MA — January 31st — In response to a third alarm structure fire, the Wilbraham Fire Department, located at 2770 Boston Road, Wilbraham, Massachusetts, provided mutual help to the Town of Ware. Alongside regional partners, Ladder 1 and Car 2 were tasked with supporting fireground operations. Working under the incident command system, crews supported firefighter safety, overhaul, and suppression.

In Western Massachusetts, large accidents frequently necessitate the provision of relief crews, specialized equipment, and staffing from several departments. Strong mutual aid agreements and frequent collaborative training, according to officials, help guarantee reliable and efficient operations. While local coverage strategies safeguarded their district, Wilbraham units stayed on the scene until ordered to leave and then returned to service.
