Multi-Agency Response at Church, Lebanon Roads

HEBRON, CT — February 6th — A reported car collision at Church Street and Lebanon Road prompted the response of the Hebron Fire Department, located at 44 Main St., Hebron, CT. When crews arrived in a matter of minutes, they discovered a two-car collision with significant damage and a trapped patient. After stabilizing both automobiles, firefighters carried out a safe extrication.


After being taken to a landing zone by Hebron Ambulance and Windham Hospital paramedics, the patient was flown to a regional trauma center by Life Star. After being assessed on the spot, a second patient refused to be transported. The collision was looked into by Connecticut State Police. Operations were assisted by mutual assistance from the Columbia Fire Department, Windham Hospital Paramedics, and Life Star. Local schools were notified of road closures, and the roadway reopened after the scene was cleared.
