COVENTRY, CT — January 31st — Firefighter Blair is completing Firefighter I training at Yantic Fire Engine Company #1, according to the Town of Coventry Fire EMS, located at 1712 Main St., Coventry, CT. The curriculum covers safety, fire behavior, personal protection equipment, and interior operations through both classroom and practical education. Students develop their communication, cooperation, and firefighting abilities while training with personnel from several departments. Regional initiatives support mutual aid efforts throughout the region and help uphold uniform standards. As members get ready for certification and active response, officials stated that ongoing education is still a top goal. To increase preparedness and deliver dependable service to locals and other regions, Coventry Fire EMS encourages continuous training.
