Mutual Aid Supports Norfolk During Rollover Crash Response

Norfolk, MA — February 6th — Three automobiles were involved in a rollover collision on Main Street, and the Norfolk Fire Department, located at 117 Main St., was called to the scene. There were reports of entrapment. A complete recall was transmitted since Ambulance 1 was already assigned to another medical call. Norfolk Engine 2 and C2 responded, as did Franklin Fire Department Engine 1 and Ambulance 1. Ambulance 1 from the Walpole Fire Department was also called for. Although it wasn't required, a medical helicopter was kept on standby. No injuries were reported in the evaluation of three patients. Engine 1 diverted when a second crash happened on North Street while off-duty personnel were responding. During operations, a medical call was also handled, and all occurrences were securely handled by coordinated mutual aid.
