Feb. 4, 2026 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue welcomed two young visitors to its headquarters Tuesday for a special behind-the-scenes experience designed to spark interest in public safety and firefighting. The children toured fire apparatus, received junior fire helmets, and had the chance to operate a water can under supervision. Fire officials said community visits like these help build positive relationships and encourage fire safety awareness from an early age. Crews expressed appreciation to families who stopped by and emphasized that the department is always glad to welcome residents, especially its youngest future firefighters.
