Feb. 2, 2026 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue crews successfully contained a brush fire Monday on Harmony Church Road that threatened multiple nearby structures. Engine 5, Engine 17, Georgia Forestry, and Battalion 1 responded to the incident and worked quickly to stop the forward spread of the fire. Officials confirmed the fire was contained without damage to any homes or buildings. Crews remained on scene for mop-up operations while Georgia Forestry completed suppression efforts. Fire officials credited the coordinated response and rapid action of all units involved for preventing further impact.
