Winder Fire Department Honors Captain Randy Wells for 30 Years of Service

January 14, 2026 — Captain Randy Wells was formally recognized today for 30 years of dedicated full-time service to the Winder Fire Department during a ceremony attended by department leadership and fellow firefighters. Prior to becoming a full-time member of the department, Captain Wells served the City of Winder as a part-time firefighter and also volunteered with the Bethlehem Fire Department for several years, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to public service and community safety. Throughout his career, Captain Wells has been known for his professionalism, leadership, and dedication to the fire service. The City of Winder and the Winder Fire Department expressed their appreciation and gratitude, noting they are fortunate to have quality employees like Randy Wells who exemplify service, integrity, and commitment.
