January 27, 2026 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue responded early Tuesday morning to a working structure fire on Laverne Circle, marking another successful operation for local crews. Engine 17, Squad 17, Battalion 1, and Chief 3 arrived on scene to find visible fire on the exterior wall of the residence, extending into the laundry room and attic space. Firefighters immediately initiated an aggressive transitional attack, allowing crews to rapidly gain control of the fire and prevent further extension throughout the home. Due to the swift and coordinated response, the fire was brought under control with limited damage, and no injuries were reported. This incident marked the second significant fire stop for crews within the same night, highlighting the professionalism, preparedness, and dedication of Baldwin County Fire Rescue personnel.
