Baldwin County Fire Rescue Quickly Contains Structure Fire on Highway 212

January 26, 2026 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue units responded to and have since cleared the scene of a structure fire on Highway 212. Engine 7, Tanker 19, Squad 17, Tanker 6, and Battalion 1 were dispatched to the incident, where firefighters encountered fire contained within a wall surrounding a chimney. Crews initiated a swift and aggressive fire attack, successfully preventing the fire from extending further into the structure. The residence sustained fire damage to one wall and water damage as a result of suppression efforts; however, due to the rapid response and coordinated operations, the overall structure was saved. No injuries were reported. Baldwin County Fire Rescue commends the outstanding work of all personnel involved for their professionalism and teamwork.
