Forecasters expect significant icing, with total ice accumulations ranging from one-quarter of an inch to as much as one inch, accompanied by wind gusts up to 35 mph across portions of north central and northeast Georgia. Officials warn that these conditions are likely to result in power outages, fallen trees, and dangerous or impassable travel, with impacts expected to affect the Monday morning commute.
