Clinton Volunteers Contribute Nearly 16,000 Service Hours in 2025

Members of the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department contributed more than 15,989 hours of volunteer service during the 2025 calendar year, according to department records.

Call responses made up the largest share of that time, totaling 9,070 hours, or 57 percent of overall service. These hours included responses within the Town of Clinton as well as operations in neighboring communities through mutual aid. Training accounted for 4,695 hours, with members completing fire, EMS, and rescue instruction to maintain operational readiness. Another 1,604 hours were spent on work details, including apparatus upkeep, station maintenance, and department projects. Fundraising activities accounted for 620 hours and helped offset operating costs.
