Engine 1 and Tanker 1 Handle Shed Fire in Hubbardston

Hubbardston, MA — January 22nd — Engine 1 and Tanker 1 of the Hubbardston Fire Department promptly put out a shed fire.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered that a detached shed was burning. They used a handline to put out the fire. Crews finished the overhaul to make sure there were no further hot spots after containing the fire to the original structure.


There were no documented injuries or exposures that were harmed. The department responded to other calls that day, including the shed fire. Additionally, a two-car motor vehicle collision on Gardner Road was attended to by crews. Firefighters helped with traffic management, emergency medical services coordination, and site safety. Units were able to quickly resume service once both occurrences were resolved without any more problems.
