BOSTON, MA - On 1/31/2023 in the early morning hours, Boston Fire dispatched one engine and one truck to a local alarm. On arrival, engine company #16 found fire in the walls and struck the box, bringing a first alarm assignment to the scene. Companies opened up 55 & 57 Cedar Street and found fire in the walls and attic. Multiple lines were placed in operation and ladder crews worked around wires throwing ground ladders. The fire went to a second alarm and was under control and overhauled in approximately 30 minutes.
