TRAPPE, PA - At 9:19 P.M. on Thursday, January 11th, Perkiomen Twp. Fire Company’s Engine 66 and an all-volunteer crew were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on East 3rd Ave. in Trappe Borough (between College Ave. and Betcher Rd.). Engine 66 responded as mutual aid to support Trappe Fire Co. PA State Police advised fire departments of a single-vehicle crash with multiple injuries. Crews from Trappe Fire Co. Engine 68-2 and Engine 66 assisted with vehicle stabilization, debris clean up, and traffic control. Medic 336 Skippack EMS transported one person with injuries. The crash is being investigated by the PA State Police. The roadway was closed for approximately one hour and 30 minutes. Thanks to the Fire-Police who helped keep the scene safe for first responders.
