The newest Deputy Chief of the Frankford Township Fire Department, Jeremy Bell, was introduced as part of the department's When the Truck Stops series. Having served with the FTFD for over 19 years, Deputy Chief Bell formally assumed the white helmet at the beginning of January. Known for his solid presence and strong work ethic, he is the type of firefighter others want beside them on the fireground.

Bell has a great deal of experience in dangerous situations because he works with propane professionally and is an outdoor enthusiast outside of the firehouse. The fire service is also a family tradition, with numerous generations serving in senior roles at Sussex Fire Department. Bell was regarded by the department as a devoted leader, a trustworthy fireman, and an important member of the FTFD family.
