Jan 21st — Frankford Township, NJ: Lieutenant 3 Steven Omelianuk, the newest member of the Frankford Township Fire Department, was introduced as part of the department's When the Truck Stops series.

At the beginning of the year, Lieutenant Omelianuk, also referred to as "Steve O," was elected to the rank of Lt. 3 and formally started donning the yellow helmet. He has almost 25 years of experience in the fire service, having worked for Midland Park before moving to Sussex County and joining the FTFD. Omelianuk is an enthusiastic outdoor enthusiast and the owner of Appalachian Air Conditioning & Heating outside the firehouse. Members of the department emphasized his unwavering dedication to teaching and coaching upcoming firefighters. The Frankford Township Fire agency commended Lieutenant Omelianuk for his ongoing commitment to the agency and applauded him.
