Warren, NJ — December 29 — Over the weekend and into Monday, Mt. Bethel Fire Company personnel dealt with numerous fire occurrences. Ladder 61 was sent to a working fire involving a garden shed and adjoining greenhouse on Monday afternoon. Rapidly arriving crews used a handline to contain the fire and stop it from spreading to other buildings.

The department was also active Sunday night as a Mt. Bethel unit responded into the Liberty Corner district for a suspected garage fire. Alongside mutual aid organizations, firefighters helped with scene support, overhaul, and suppression. In order to safely manage both situations, officials stressed that prompt response, coordinated fireground activities, and mutual aid agreements were crucial. After efforts were finished, both locations were secured and cleared, and no casualties were reported.
