West Berlin, NJ — January 3 — After responding to 858 service requests, the West Berlin Fire-Rescue, situated at 186 Haddon Avenue, concluded the year. Fires, auto accidents, medical assistance, alarms, and other public service responses from the community and surrounding areas made up the call volume. Throughout all shifts, crews continued to be active, juggling training, equipment inspections, station tasks, and emergency response. Consistent call activity, according to officials, emphasizes the necessity of continuing staffing, equipment maintenance, and readiness. In order to assist situations that needed more resources, the agency kept up its tight collaboration with mutual aid partners. West Berlin Fire-Rescue continues to prioritize preparedness, firefighter safety, and provide dependable emergency services to locals and neighboring towns as the new year gets underway.
