Winslow Township, NJ — January 26th — The West Berlin Fire-Rescue, located at 186 Haddon Avenue, responded to a domestic residence fire in Winslow Township's Sicklerville neighborhood. When Battalion 25-B arrived, they verified that there was a fire in the adjoining garage. In order to minimize damage to the building, Squad 25-B swiftly put out the fire by advancing a 1½-inch handline. Establishing a water supply, setting up a backup handline, overhauling, and general crisis management were all aided by mutual help organizations. The American Red Cross provided help to a family that was relocated due to fire damage, but no injuries were reported. The Winslow Township Fire Marshal's Office and the Camden County Fire Marshal's Office are still looking into the fire.
