Stratford, NJ — January 23rd — Ahead of an impending winter snowstorm, the Stratford Fire Department, located at 311 E. Laurel Road, announced preparation measures. In order to facilitate prompt emergency response, the department will have volunteer crews stationed throughout the storm based on information provided by the Borough of Stratford. In order to facilitate efficient snow removal and preserve access for emergency vehicles, fire officials urged locals to restrict on-street parking. In order to facilitate better access for responders, residents were also advised to shovel driveways and walkways when it is safe to do so. These actions promote safer operations in the winter. Throughout the storm, the Stratford Fire Department will keep an eye on the situation and be prepared to act.
