New Fire and Administrative Officers Sworn In for 2026

The Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department installed its administration and fire officials for 2026 during its yearly swearing-in ceremony. John Armstrong was sworn in as vice president and Richard Gentles as president. Lina Sriji was appointed Corresponding Secretary, and James Kern was appointed Treasurer. These officials will support the department's emergency response mission while supervising its administrative operations. Andrew Schmucker was appointed Deputy Chief and James Soccodato was sworn in as Chief on the fire side. Michael Coyne, Nick Nikolopoulos, and James Rath were sworn in as Lieutenants, while Mike Glogolich was named Captain. Throughout the year, the line officers will be in charge of supervision, training, and operational reaction.
