Magnolia, NJ — Jan. 10 — A working fire at the Lakeview Apartments Leasing and Management Office in the Chews Landing Fire Department's first-due area prompted members of Magnolia Fire Company 29 to respond as Quint Company 29 on the box alarm. The incident was raised to All Hands and a second alarm because of the fire conditions after Chief 82 arrived with fire showing.

For the duration of the incident, Chief 29 was designated as the Incident Safety Officer. Quint 29 served as a ladder company on the Alpha side to facilitate fire stream operations and enhance tower ladder access. After that, crews helped with coordinated overhaul and suppression. There was no spread of the fire to neighboring housing complexes. There were no reported injuries.
