NORWICH, CT - At 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 27th, the East Great Plain Fire Department was dispatched to 682 West Main Street for a car fire. Engine 52 arrived at 9:35 A.M. and stretched a one-and-three-quarter-inch hose line, quickly extinguishing the engine compartment fire on a pickup truck. Car 5 had command and the Norwich Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
