Westville, NJ — January 2 — In 2025, 1,357 calls for service were handled by Westville Fire Department personnel, indicating consistent operating demand throughout the borough. Fire events, emergency medical assistance, service requests, and mutual-aid assignments within Westville and surrounding areas were among the responses.


Call volume data is utilized to inform staffing, equipment planning, and training, according to department officials. To stay ready for a variety of situations, firefighters also underwent routine training, inspections, and equipment maintenance throughout the year.
