West Deptford, NJ — January 25 — Storm conditions in the township prompted the activation of the Emergency Operations Center in West Deptford. To assist coordinated operations, members from the West Deptford Fire Department, West Deptford Police Department, and West Deptford Public Works Department work at the center.

According to officials, the activation enables agencies to manage resources, exchange real-time information, and keep an eye on situations during the storm. When road hazards, service disruptions, and public safety issues emerge, fire, police, and public works staff collaborate to handle them. Life-threatening calls are still given priority by emergency personnel. To ensure smooth operations throughout the event, township officials recommended that all non-life-threatening crises and storm-related information requests be sent to the West Deptford Emergency Operations Center.
