Ocean Fire Company Closes 2025 with 378 Calls

Point Pleasant Beach, NJ — December 31 — As 2025 came to an end, Ocean Fire Company reflected on a hectic year of operations and sent out New Year's wishes. 2025 was one of the department's busiest years, with 378 service requests handled under the direction of Department Chief John Pasola. Chief Pasola was commended by department officials for steering the business through rising demand while preserving preparedness and coordination with other agencies.


The department's FAST Team was called to a residential structure fire in Brick Township's Laurelton neighborhood at the beginning of 2026. Chief 4210 led the Brick Township fire units while Rescue Engine 4211 and Rescue 4303 responded and offered proactive FAST support.
