Brick Township, NJ — December 31 — As the year came to an end, Pioneer Hose Company No. 1 wished its members, families, and the larger emergency services community a happy and healthy New Year. The department, which operates out at 312 Drum Point Road, continues to provide emergency response, fire suppression, and continuous training to Brick Township. In order to stay ready for a variety of situations, members took part in regular drills, maintained equipment, and coordinated reactions with mutual assistance partners throughout the year. As the new year gets underway, department leaders stressed the value of preparedness, collaboration, and community support.
