Dorothy Volunteer Fire Company Responds to Multi-Vehicle Crash at Tuckahoe Road Intersection

December 17, 2025, 4:55 p.m. — Members of the Dorothy Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of 11th Avenue and Tuckahoe Road. Station and BLS 12-7 responded to the incident, which involved multiple vehicles and required coordinated fire and EMS operations. A total of ten personnel answered the call, responding with two engines, one ambulance, and one utility unit. Upon arrival, crews secured the scene, mitigated hazards, and established traffic control to ensure the safety of motorists and responders. Firefighters and EMS personnel remained on location until all disabled vehicles were removed from the roadway. There were no reports of serious injuries. The incident was logged as Fire Call 25-209 and EMS Call 25-955, and the scene was cleared after operations were safely completed.
