Jackson, NJ — December 29 — Firefighters from Jackson Township Fire District No. 4, located at 465 North County Line Road, recently participated in the Eckert Fire Tactics "Night Moves" training session in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Six live-fire training stations were included in the program to improve practical fireground skills. Firefighters received training in search methods, ventilation, forcible entry, engine company operations, and firefighter survival. Crews were put in low-visibility situations akin to those encountered during real reactions thanks to the night-based approach. According to department officials, this kind of practical training enhances coordination, confidence, and decision-making on the fireground. Members came back with strengthened abilities that will help Jackson Township run safely and efficiently. The department expressed gratitude to the Eckert Fire Tactics instructors for offering a well-organized and useful training program.
